Clean and comfy room with plenty of space. I was up in the eaves which was quite quirky. Bathroom has been refreshed quite recently and shower was great. Very clean throughout. Great location for hospital and managed to park for free in the car park downstairs. Great value for money. You are above a pub/restaurant and in the student area so I expected noise, but it was actually pretty quiet for a Friday night!

We stayed here last month also, so I knew what to expect. They email you in the morning with a door code to the front entrance and the bedroom. There was no staff at all last time, this time we saw someone briefly sat by the front desk as we arrived.

fantastic layout,looks and feels like living in a castle,very clean,quiet,easy to access,near supermarket,near town centre,very helpful ,kind and communicative host ,went out of his way to help me ,offer me the best room,superbe quiet stay.

√ Easy hassle free entry thanks to their automated sms message with access codes BEFORE ARRIVING. I've lost count of the amount of times I've had to call a number when I arrive at other places. √ Automated locks on the doors, one code for the main entrance, another code for your room. It gives you a sense of security you don't get in most places.

The most I enjoyed about the property was the the clean but old fashioned aesthetic it had to the building but also having a bar and Chinese restaurant right underneath which was really good would highly recommend

Close to everything you would need but far enough away that it was really quiet, didn’t hear outside noise, the bed was really comfortable and access was quick and easy, even said we could get in a bit earlier although in actual fact we ended up checking in later. Free parking on site which is always good.

Good location, easy to find as pretty much straight off the M56, very easy to get to Manchester centre by bus. Surprisingly pleased after reading previous reviews where bookings seemed to be non-existent on arrival, or access information not being received. We were a little wary having read these, especially with no staff on-site, but everything was fine. Communication with the hotel in advance of our stay was excellent, even to the point of helping us with bus numbers to get into Manchester!

The building is old and beautiful. The room was spacious and warm (a radiator and an electric fire place), good water pressure in the bathroom, and hot water from the first second. The beds were comfy. Few sockets in the room, but the extension was provided. Coffee/tea, sugar, kettle/cups, spoon were provided. We paid via bank transfer a day before the arrival and it was a very good decision because otherwise we would have had to wait outside the building for the account number, then for the confirmation, and then for the codes to enter the building.

Beds were super comfy and it was lovely and clean. Codes to get in building and room which meant you didn’t need to carry out a key or card.
